We have some upcoming events and important dates.

• “Spirit Week!!
  We have school spirit. Yes we do! We have school spirit! How about you?

• “Badge Ceremony!!
  The final Badge Ceremony is coming up fast! It will be held at the Woodland Hall at Sun-N-Fun of Sarasota on Friday, May 25th from 9am-12pm. We will celebrate the students’ fourth quarter accomplishments, be treated to a talent show, and will present the final awards. We hope all our families and friends will join us in celebrating the exceptional progress and achievements the GAP School students worked so hard for this year!

• “Summer Camp!!
  Are you looking for a unique summer camp experience where social skills are taught and nurtured throughout the entire day? At our bully-free summer camp, the campers are encouraged to practice newly learned social skills while interacting with team members through arts and crafts, science, personal fitness, music, and cooperative games. Call for more information today!

• “Field Trip!!
  We had a wonderful field trip to “Embracing Our Differences” where we celebrated the GAP School winners! Joshua Rodriguez’s entry about bullying is on exhibit at Marina Jack’s. Rachel Morgan’s entry about unity is also on exhibit. Congratulations to our GAP school winners! Our field trip also included a visit to MOTE marine. The GAP school kids enjoyed seeing the marine life and were complimented on their great manners and good behavior by the MOTE marine staff. Great job GAP school students!
