Our Students

Our students come first. We believe each student is unique and brings value to the classroom. We strive to bring each individual student to their highest potential. Our students face individual challenges: including autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, etc. We strive to bring each individual student to their highest potential academically, socially, and as a member of the community. We want the GAP School to be a transformative power so the students can continue on their roadmap of learning and personal success.

What do we envision a GAP School graduate to look like?

  • We want GAP School graduates to be able to access information and manage curriculum more easily.
  • We want our graduates to pursue their aspirations and enroll in challenging courses at other schools.
  • We want our GAP graduates to feel strongly that they are better off than they were before they started at the GAP School.
  • We want them to be able to answer questions more intelligently and to be knowledgeable about their strengths and challenges.
  • We want them to have more tolerance and patience and be recognized as leaders. GAP graduates will be able to better regulate their own behaviors and to feel accepted and needed in a classroom community.
  • We hope they feel successful and will be able to ask for what they need.
  • We want the GAP School to be a transformative power so that they can continue on their roadmap of learning.
