报告题目：Moment Divergence of Spectral Galerkin–Linear-Implicit Euler Approximations for Superlinear SPDEs

报告摘要：We study the moment divergence of fully discrete spectral Galerkin approximations with linear-implicit Euler time-stepping for reaction–diffusion SPDEs with dissipative, superlinear drift and an additive Q-Wiener process. The covariance operator need not commute with the Laplacian, and it suffices that a single fixed Laplacian eigenmode be excited. For every fixed Galerkin space containing this mode and every p>0, the p-th moment of the numerical approximation diverges. This divergence occurs both under time-step refinement on any fixed finite time interval and in the long-time limit with a fixed time step, regardless of the smoothness of the noise.

报告人简介：刘智慧，南方科技大学数学系副教授、研究员、博士生导师，国家级高层次青年人才。2017年7月获中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院计算数学博士学位。2017年8月至2018年8月在中国香港理工大学从事博士后研究工作，2018年9月至2020年8月任香港科技大学研究助理教授，2020年9月开始加入南方科技大学历任助理教授、副教授（研究员）。研究领域主要为随机微分方程数值分析与计算。曾主持香港研究资助局研究项目和国家自然科学基金（青C和面上）项目。
